M/V view data
Public M/V view counts are collected separately through the YouTube Data API.
Only K-pop music videos that entered the YouTube Global Weekly Top Music Video Chart after release and continued to remain on the chart are included on this site.
Metrics on this site are presented on a weekly basis to align more closely with the structure of the YouTube Global Weekly Top Music Video Chart. For consistency, the site focuses on chart-period comparisons rather than cumulative lifetime views.
Public M/V view counts and chart figures may not match exactly due to timing differences, rounding, or collection-related variance. To reduce overstatement, this site applies a conservative adjustment of up to 1% when presenting certain comparison values.
Independent collection of public M/V view data for this project began around March 26, 2026. Accordingly, earlier historical coverage is limited, and some entries may be unavailable or incomplete depending on collection timing or source conditions.
When relevant data is unavailable, incomplete, or could not be collected with sufficient consistency, the value is shown as “-” rather than being estimated or backfilled.
View Gap Ratio is an independently derived metric based on the difference between chart views and public M/V view counts. It is provided as an analytical reference only and is not an official YouTube metric.
The label "Views Excluding Paid Ads" is based on YouTube's statement that "Paid advertising views on YouTube don't count toward YouTube Charts." 🔗
